Running Club

Fun Fitness in association with Croydon Tennis Centre is commencing a running club designed to cater for all levels of fitness, and to be an activity you can enjoy at your own pace.

There is no pressure about how fast you should go. Set your own goals and achieve them when you are ready, like running your own half marathon.

You are guaranteed to find someone else in the club that you can run, jog or trot with, and therefore you will be able to encourage each other.

The Run 4 Fun Club is a must for those wanting to improve their fitness level, jogging technique and fun run times. It will also help to decrease body fat levels as well as give definition to the legs. But the most positive aspect will be the improved health and well-being benefits you will gain from being outdoors in the fresh air participating in a cardiovascular activity.

Kelly Murphy, our very own Ironman will be leading the running club, offering valuable tips and an insight into her own training schedule.

 

Are the sessions tailored for beginners, intermediate or advanced clients?

Sessions will be suitable for all levels. Options will be given wherever possible to extend those who are faster runners, and ease down for those who need less intensity.

Where do the sessions start from?

All sessions start on Mondays at 7.00pm and finish at 8.00pm from the Croydon Tennis Centre carpark, 43 Brighton Street Croydon 2132, (a five minute walk from Croydon Train Station).

What do I need to bring?

Water

In Winter a Reflective Vest, Headlamp, Blinking Light etc.

What do I need to wear?

Good running shoes and loose fitting, layered exercise clothing - shorts, t-shirts etc

How many in the class?

Class size will be restricted to 10, to ensure individual attention. So get in quick before all the spots go!
